Our objectives

Support members’ balances of payments, by providing loans or by guaranteeing third-party loans.

Improve the investment conditions for the members’ international reserves.

Contribute to the harmonization of the members’ exchange rate, monetary and financial policies.

Photo Gallery | We successfully concluded the 2nd FLAR Cybersecurity Forum, held on April 28–29 in Medellín, Colombia. Over two days, representatives from central banks, international organizations, and regional experts discussed key topics such as artificial intelligence applied to cybersecurity, operational resilience, protection of instant payment systems, continuous vulnerability management, and preparedness for quantum computing scenarios, strengthening knowledge exchange and regional collaboration in addressing emerging digital challenges.
