Improve the investment conditions for the members’ international reserves.

Contribute to the harmonization of the members’ exchange rate, monetary and financial policies.

Read blog | In this new blog, we present the results of our recent research, which analyzes how public debt shocks affect bank capitalization and how this response depends on institutional and regulatory quality. The findings show that increases in public indebtedness tend to reduce bank capital, although the pace and dynamics of the adjustment vary significantly across countries.
